This course aims to provide skills in Linux system Administration and configure common network services and security at the basic level.

Overview of Linux,

Linux File system,

Configuring the batch shell and GNOME,

Groups and Permissions, uses of vi and vim editors, string processing,

Network clients, and bash shell scripting.

System Administration;

Kernel services and configuration, user administration, administration tools,

RAID and quotas, system rescue.

Network services and security Administration; organizing network systems, system monitoring, securing networks, services and data and lab sessions
